Key Stage 1...
Key Stage 1 is the period beginning with his or her reaching compulsory school-age. It ends at the same time as the school year in which the majority of pupils in his or her class reach the age of seven.
In Year 1 the children are supported from the transition between Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 by maintaining strong links with the Reception class.
During the first half term of the year, the children in Year 1 are able to make use of the outdoor facilities in the Foundation Stage area in the afternoons
