Meet the School team...

Teaching staff

Mrs Parker is the Headteacher of St John's and is also the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator . She joined the school in April 2006. Mrs Parker is a great Formula 1 fan!

Miss Marshall is the Deputy Headteacher and reception class teacher. She also takes responsibilty for Literacy across the school. She is supported by Mrs Hack as her teaching assistant.

Mrs Luff teaches in Nursery and has responsibilty for the Foundation Stage and Maths across the school. Mrs Antingham, Mrs White and Mrs Boot support Mrs Luff in Nursery.

Mrs Summersgill is the Year 1 classteacher and ICT subject leader. Her teaching assistant is Mrs Pallott.

Mrs James teaches in Year 2 and has responsibilty for the whole of KS1, Science and Art. Mrs Rich and Mrs Cook are teaching assistants in Year 2.

Mrs Jefferys has recently joined the school team and teaches in Year 3.She is supported by Mrs Stillwell who is also the Senior Midday Supervisor.

Mrs Dawson and Mrs Bowry are the Year 4 teachers . Mrs Bowry shares the responsibilty for Maths with Mrs Luff and Mrs Dawson is the Humanities subject leader. Mrs Stuttaford is their teaching assistant.

Mr Hughes teaches in Year 5 and is also the Music subject leader and the Gifted and Talented pupil co-ordinator. Mrs Young is the Year 5 teaching assistant.

Mrs Barnett and Mrs Bates teach Year 6. Mrs Barnett is our PE subject leader and Mrs Bates has responsibilty for Modern Foreign Languages. Mrs Audibert and Mrs Walker also work in Year 6 as teaching assistants.

Mrs Stewart is our Special Educational Needs teacher.
