Meet the School team... Teaching staff Mrs Parker is the Headteacher of St John's. She joined the school in April 2006. Mrs Parker is a great Formula 1 fan! Mrs Luff teaches in Nursery and has responsibility for the Foundation Stage. Mrs Rose, Mrs Howard and Mrs Irvine support Mrs Luff in Nursery. Miss Marshall is the Deputy Headteacher, SENCO and reception class teacher job sharing with Mrs Huseyin. They are supported by Mrs Hack and Mrs White. Miss Pitfield is the Year 1 class teacher. Her teaching assistants are Mrs Patience, Mrs Funnel, Mrs Cuss and Mrs White in the afternoons. Mrs Jeffreys teaches in Year 2, she is a member of the Arts and Sports team and has particular responsibility for Art and DT across the school. Mr Askew-Ives also works in Year 2 as teaching assistant and Is our ICT technician. They are supported by Mrs Cook. Mrs Bowry and Mrs Dawson are the Year 3 teachers who job share this role. Mrs Bowry leads the school on Maths and Mrs Dawson is a member of the World Around Us team. They are supported by Mrs Pallott ,Mrs Walker and Miss Bicknell. Mr Hughes teaches in Year 4 is a member of the Core team and has responsibility for ICT. He is supported by Mrs Westmacott and Mrs Stillwel Mrs Barnett and Mrs Farnworth are the Year 5 teachers . Mrs Barnett is a Senior Leadership Team member, member of the Arts and Sports team and is our PE subject leader and Mrs Farnworth leads on Music.They are supported by.Mrs Drakeford, Mrs Umney, Mrs Shandling and Mrs Boot. Mrs Bates teaches Year 6. She is also a KS2 leader (shared), SLT member, member of the Core Subject team and has responsibility for Literacy and Modern Foreign Languages. Mrs Audibert and Mrs Christie work in Year 6 as teaching assistants.
