Harvest Festival & ‘Flying High Together’ By Helping Others

Harvest Festival & ‘Flying High Together’ by helping others

A wonderful Harvest Festival celebration at Redland Park United Reformed Church. (25.10.19.) Each year group performed a special Harvest song. The service focussed on being thankful for what we have.

We  thought about our school vision, ‘together, fly high like an eagle.’ (Isaiah 40:31) We talked about how working together to help others and giving back to those who really need it, is an important part of being the best person you can possibly be.

This year we supported our Foundation Church, All Saints Clifton, who were collecting donations for the Sisters of the Church, Loaves and Fishes Ministry who provide much needed support and care for those who find themselves in challenging circumstances.     Thank you for all your very generous food and toiletry donations.

Community of the Sisters of the Church – Bristol

In Bristol our work focusses on pastoral care in the local community, both centred on the house and through working with other agencies. At the house, this care has taken the form of both practical assistance such as giving food parcels at the door, and befriending and listening to callers and volunteers.
