How can you help?

We would love you to get involved!

As a parent or carer, you are automatically a member of the St John's PTA.  There are lots of ways you can help and be involved; contributing ideas for fundraising events, volunteering your time to run stalls or clear up after events, contributing to class cake stalls, helping to design posters for events, offering any expertise you may have (e.g. fundraising, graphic design, web design, catering etc.)...so many ways you can help.  PTA meetings are open to all parents and carers, and we are always looking for new ideas and helpers.  If you can't make it along to our meetings, please feed through your ideas via e-mail at: pta@stjohnsprimary.org.uk.

Interested in joining the Committee?

Being part of the PTA is a great way of feeling connected with the school, and meeting people within the school community.  The time commitment can be as much or as little as you like; it's totally flexible.  It can also be lots of fun meeting other parents, and helping to plan new events, socials and get-togethers.

The PTA Committee is elected annually at our AGM, which takes place this year on September 26th (from 7:30pm in the WR school hall).   We will be looking to recruit Class Reps for this year, and are always keen to welcome new volunteers into our Committee.  If you would like to get involved, please click on the link below to see descriptions of the different roles available.

If you have skills (or even just enthusiasm!) in any of these areas, we would love to hear from you.  Please contact us at pta@stjohnsprimary.org.uk, and come along to our first get together on September 26th.
