Welcome to the St John's PTA

As a parent or carer at St. John's you are automatically a member of the PTA, and there are lots of ways you can help out which can involve as much or as little time as you like.  We are always looking for help with our social events and fundraisers, so if you have some time to spare, we would love to meet you!

The fantastic support across the school community has allowed our PTA to fund a huge range of equipment including new playground equipment, interactive whiteboards, kitchen equipment, lighting in the hall, digital cameras, and much more... Every event you attend with your families, every cake you bake, every minute you give up to help on a stall - it really does make a difference, and our children are already enjoying the benefits!

If you have any ideas for fundraising or would like to speak to a committee member about helping with events, please come and find us in the playground.  Or you can send us an e-mail: pta@stjohnsprimary.org.uk

We'd love to hear from you!

Classlist

We have started to use St John's Classlist as the main communication hub for PTA events, socials and fundraisers. It's a great way to connect with other parents, and keep on top of all the events taking place throughout the year.

The majority of our parents are now on Classlist, but if you haven't signed up, and would like to join please go to www.classlist.com.

Click on the red button which says “Sign Up”, select the “parent” button, and type in our school name: St John’s Church of England Primary School (there are lots of schools called St John’s, so use this wording to avoid joining the wrong school!).

You will see our location in Bristol, and “Lucy D” as the Classlist Ambassador. Click on the button to confirm this is correct, and you can then add your details.

It takes 2 minutes to register; once you’ve done this, the office will approve your email address, and make sure you’re allocated to the correct class. Then you’re ready to roll!

Feedback so far has been very positive, and we hope that St John’s Classlist will continue to provide a great way to connect parents across our school community.
