PTA Events Schedule

The countdown is on for the Christmas Fair!

Friday 7th Dec 3:15-6pm @ Worrall Road

We have a great line-up of stalls and activities, and it's shaping up to be a fantastic event full of Festive Fun!

We are putting out a school-wide request for donations to some of our stalls - it's a good way of having a quick clear-out before all of the new things arrive at Christmas! If you could help us with contributions to any of the following stalls, we would be very grateful:

Small gifts for the Secrets Room
The idea of the `Secrets Rooms' is that children can enter without their parents, and purchase a small gift for them, which they then wrap and keep secret until Christmas day. Please bring in the little things you might have that need a new home (gifts you haven't got around to using, samples you haven't used, nearly-new knick knacks that are still in good condition). We're looking for things that would make great ladies, gents gifts like CDs, DVDs, jewellery, puzzles, books, toys, scarves, handbags, ties, bubble bath, kitchen goodies, frames, etc. Any spare wrapping paper and sellotape would also be much appreciated!

Prizes for the Toy Tombola
If you have any (new / unused/nearly new condition) toys that your children have never got around to using or duplicate gifts from Birthdays, they would be fantastic prizes for our Toy Tombola. These can be anything you think a child at St John's would like to win as a prize: mini lego packs, craft kits, activity books, trading cards, annuals, small toys etc.

Second Hand Uniform
We will be running a second-hand uniform stall at the fair. Please leave any school uniform (new school logo only for the tops) that your children have outgrown (clean and in good condition please!)

There will be boxes for all donations in place from Friday (30th November) under the canopy outside the Dragon Boats and Balloons classrooms at Worrall Road, and in the Aqua Zone at Lower Redland Road. For ease there will be one box on each site and we will sort through the donations to get them to the correct stall. Anything left over after the fair will be donated to local charity so will still help support a good cause.

We are also hoping that someone may be able to help provide us with a small white gazebo for us to borrow for the fair (to help us create our winter wonderland for the grotto). If anyone has anything that fits the bill please let us know.

Thanks in advance for your help. Looking forward to seeing you all at the fair!

Best wishes,
The PTA
