School Lunches

School Lunches

Autumn/Winter menu - please note that there have been a couple of changes to the attached Autumn/Winter 18/19 menu.

Week 2: Tuesday will be Roast Chicken Breast, Thursday will be Roast Pork

Week 3: Thursday will be Gammon

School meals are charged at £2.10 per meal, £10.50 per week - see current menu below. School lunches are now ordered and paid through the Parent Pay website, which Eden Foods, our catering providers have chosen to use.  This frees up almost an hour a week for the pupils which is now spent on learning instead of capturing lunch orders. There is additional benefit to the school in terms of reducing the amount of time spent on administration of the school dinner money.

The ParentPay customer service team will help with any problems. They can be contacted by following the link There is a FAQ section of the website for common problems

Parents of children who are new to the school will be given their account details by the school office when they join the school.

Even if you are entitled to free school meals or if your child is in Early Years or Year 1/2, you will still need to order your meals online where you will automatically be credited for eligibility to free school meals.  You can make, cancel or amend your meal choices until 9am on the day of service. Eden needs to know how much food to supply on a daily basis, and they can only do this if school lunches are ordered for every child who needs one.  If you do not order a school dinner in advance for your child, the school office will contact you and request that you bring in a packed lunch.

Children bringing in packed lunches should not bring sweets, fizzy drinks, or glass bottles.

The school has a number of School Meals Supervisory Assistants (SMSAs) who supervise the children at lunchtime and organise games clubs for them to enjoy.

Milk and Fruit
Milk is available for children under 5 years of age and fruit is provided for all EYFS and Key Stage 1 children as a snack during the day.  Water is available during the day for all children.  Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children are asked to bring in a water bottle to school.
