Sport and Pupil Premium
Sports Premium Funding
The Department for Education has allocated additional funding to schools to improve PE and sports provision. At St. John's we recognise the importance of supporting and promoting the physical development of all pupils, the benefits of competition and the embedding of a culture of physical activity as part of a long term healthy lifestyle. We have therefore used the additional funding as a means of increasing competition and developing our PE provision in a way that will have sustainable long term benefits. Please read the reports below about how we have spent this funding in recent years and the impact it is having on our pupils:

Pupil Premium Funding
The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. Information about how we used the pupil premium funding is available in this report:
If you think you might be eligible for the pupil premium grant and free school meals, more information can be found on Bristol City Council's website, with the link to the online application process. Please consider applying as this additional funding can make a real difference to your child and others in the school. Contact the school office with any questions.
