British Flag Football Champion visits WR

On Monday 23rd March, the children at WR had a very special visitor, Mr AJ Carr, British Flag Football champion and a professional American football player.

He talked to the children about flag football, a fast-developing sport, and shared some videos and information about his career.

Flag football is the NFL football equivalent to Tag Rugby, allowing KS2 children to play safely and enjoy the sport. Mr Carr will be visiting again to deliver a workshop on Flag football to our Y5&6 classes and will be providing some tickets for the next NFL match taking place in Bristol, next month.  We will ask from parents to register their interest for these.
