NW24 Teaching and Learning Partnership

St. John’s is a very active member of the NW24 Teaching and Learning Partnership. The aim of the Partnership is to use collaboration between schools to drive school improvement, particularly focussing on the outcomes and opportunities for children. Our headteacher, Mr. Hoye, leads the Partnership and chairs the headteachers’ group.
The schools in our NW24 Partnership are located in the city of Bristol and include Infant, Junior, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools and with a mix of Bristol Local Authority maintained schools, standalone academies, sponsored academies and Free Schools. The diversity of the membership is one of the biggest strengths of the Partnership. Established in 2015, the Partnership has grown and we now serve nearly 15,000 children in total.
The partnership meets regularly at different levels: Heads, Deputies, School Business Managers, Governors, SENDCos and teachers. We also provide a range of inter-school events and activities for our children. Everyone benefits from the opportunities that this collaboration brings.
As a member of NW24, St John’s Primary School is part of a partnership which improves outcomes for children, delivers high quality professional development for staff, and represents the interests of its members in policy decisions at a local, regional and national level.
