NW24 Sports Event June 2025
On Wednesday, 11th of June , 8 schools, members of the NW24 partnership took part in a sports event for children in Y2&3. Around 270 children attended and participated in a variety of fun and engaging sporting activities set and run by either the school teachers or sports companies working in partnership with these schools.
Activities included Dance, Team Building, Football, Rounders, Multi skills, Invasion games, Cheerleading, Athletics and more. Children were put in mixed groups among the schools and had the opportunity to make new friends and explore new skills.
Fifteen Y10 children and Sports leaders from Redland Green School were also there and were a great help in the running of the event. Many thanks to Novus Education, Usports, Shine, Bristol Rovers and Ignite Sports for providing an instructor to run a station for the event.
