Creativity Club
Emma from Chandos Atelier offers after-school Creativity Clubs at both our sites. These enriching sessions are creative invitations to explore and experiment with a new selection of materials every week. Not just about art and making, they encourage resourcefulness and resilience through an ethos of process over outcomes and a try-and-try-again attitude. Some parent/carer testimonials:
“A huge thank you for all the wonderfully imaginative (and detailed!) makes that R has explored with you this year. He has loved it and learnt a huge amount, not just about materials but also about perseverance and managing frustration. Thank you to the whole team.”
“What a brilliant club, we feel really lucky to have it. Emma makes every class fun, inspiring and challenging all at once.”
“I thought N. would enjoy the crafty activities but it turns out your approach is having a positive impact on her general willingness to give things a try and not to be afraid if it doesn’t go to plan being too – so thank you.”
“My child has a fantastic time at Chandos Atelier! Emma is wonderful, so engaging, supportive, and inspiring. The sessions are creative, well-organised, and filled with exciting activities that spark imagination. Thank you, Emma, for making this such an enjoyable and enriching experience!”
“You have changed her relationship with art. She used to hate it, it made her feel bad about herself and her abilities. Now it’s her favourite subject.”
“She has always been too nervous to attend an after school club before. She has loved the first two weeks and brings her work home proudly to be displayed. You are amazing. “
