Group Speaking Success

Success for St. John’s Group Speaking ensemble at the Bristol Festival of Music, Speech and Drama!

Having been rehearsing for months, a group of children from KS2 performed at the Drama section of the Festival at Redmaids High last weekend.

Their collection of poetry and prose, spoken in unison, small group and solo voices, acted purely with the voice and the face, earned them an impressive mark of 88 and an Honours grade. The adjudicator was so impressed with the quality of their work that they have now been invited to perform at the prestigious Festival Concert next week where a wide variety of musical and theatrical talent will be on show.
