Saxon Bread Making

As part of our Saxon topic, children in Y5&6 had fun making and tasting Saxon bread. Some groups made a ‘royal’ bread recipe, with others following a ‘peasant’ recipe. They then tried and compared both breads with the ‘royal’ recipe being the preferred one!
