I have spent the 14 years working as an English teacher in Secondary Education and have first hand experience of the challenges faced by educators. I have recently left this role to begin a Doctorate in Education at Bristol University, focussing on pupil premium funding and supporting vulnerable students in education.

I have two sons at St John’s, who continue to benefit from the opportunities provided. As a new co-opted Governor, I’m really looking forward to getting involved in this thriving community.
