Worrall Road Eco Team 25/26

This week we announced a new Eco Team at Worrall Road. The new team of children will continue on from last year’s Eco Team who all worked hard to make our school a greener and more nature friendly place.

Last year the Eco Team worked in our No Dig Garden, reseeded more flowers in our wildflower meadow, did playground litter picks and managed our paper and card recycling. The team also drove the change to refillable glue sticks and recyclable pens in our school to reduce our plastic waste.

The new Eco Team were presented with their badges in service this week and will start their new jobs next week and come up with ideas and plans for the year ahead.

Congratulations also to Ivy and Ottilie in Year 5 who are our new Nature Champions and will support the Eco Team with gardening and growing in the school grounds.
