Y5&6 Girls Athletics Competition

On Monday 21st October, 12 year 5/6 girls had the privilege to participate in an excellent Indoor Athletics competition at Redmaids Senior School.  The girls thoroughly enjoyed the event achieving many personal bests. St John’s also won 3 certificates (2 bronze and 1 gold. The girls participated in many events including: 1 lap sprint, 2 lap runs, 4 lap distances, 1 lap hurdles, standing long jump, speed bounce, target throw and indoor shot (please see photos below). Overall, the girls had a fantastic afternoon and we look forward to be invited to many tournaments in the future.
