Young Voices 2019
On January 23rd, singers from our school choir travelled to Birmingham Arena to sing with more than 6,000 other children from schools around the UK in a Young Voices concert. They performed a huge programme of music including a medley from The Greatest Showman, an American Folk Odessey and a fantastic arrangement of ‘We Are The World’, to a packed arena, including some of our very own parents.
The event was made even more exciting by the live band and soloists, Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet, X Factor success story Beau Dermott and Basement Jaxx lead singer Sharlene Héctor, as well as the phenomenal hip hop dance troupe, Urban Strides who helped us to really raise the roof! Our singers worked so hard and performed brilliantly – an absolute credit to our school.
