Land Before Time – Our Wow Day

The children have learnt this term how to classify items from living, dead or never been alive to exploring dinosaur poo to understand their diet!  The children have become familiar with the terms herbivore, omnivore and carnivore.

During our WOW day the children got to learn when each dinosaur lived, where they came from, what they ate and much more.

They were able to use the tools to excavate fossils and use fact files to work out what it was.   The children were definitely paleontologists for the day.

The children also got to meet a baby dinosaur and a seven year old T-Rex!
