Summer Fair 2022
What an amazing Summer Fair we had last Friday! After a long wait, it was so good to have our community back together to enjoy a truly fantastic afternoon of family fun. Enhanced all the more by the sunny weather, it was such a great atmosphere. We had excellent performances from the infant and junior choirs and dance groups – what talent!
We also had 9 stalls run by our budding entrepreneurs who had made it through the rigorous selection process to run a stall as part of the St. John’s Young Apprentice competition. The winning team got to keep their profit of just under £150 – so congratulations to Ross, Nicholas and Jacob who received their winnings in service on Monday and now have nearly £50 to spend!
Thanks to everyone who came along to support the school, especially if you ran a stall, are a class rep or contributed in any small way – it all helps. Particular thanks to the AMAZING committee members for all their hard work in preparing for the event as well as ensuring everything went smoothly on the day – our school is so lucky to have people like you.
We look forward to the next big event which is the BBQ on Friday 8th July after school, look forward to seeing you there.
