Active Learning Day
On Thursday this week our children celebrated ‘Active Learning Day’. This meant teachers focussed on the importance of children moving whilst they learn. St. John’s understand the benefits of active learning. It helps children engage with lessons, learn more effectively and improves their overall mental health by having fun with their classmates.
Activities included dancing phonics in Early Years, Story building stations where children run to collect vocabulary in Year 3/4 and fun with scoring goals during maths in Year 5/6.
