We had a great turn out of children, parents and grandparents for our first No Dig Friday event last week. The garden paths are now completed, and lots more veg and flowers planted. Here are some photos of all our busy gardeners.  More No Dig Friday dates for Term 6 to follow soon ..

For our next stage of the No Dig Garden, we would like to install a 2-chamber compost bay system in the garden area so that we can reduce and reuse our school kitchen food waste and use it as compost in our garden. If there are any parents who are handy with a drill / experienced in building a compost bay system out of pallets and would be happy to volunteer their time and help us, please could you get in touch on guppy@stjohnsprimary.org.uk
