Gardening Club Update

The children using recycled cardboard tubes, lard, string and sunflower seeds, made bird feeders for the big garden bird watch. This is an annual event where for an hour you count the birds in your garden. The numbers are then used to see what types of birds are declining or thriving in certain areas.

The bird feeders were placed in and around forest school.

The children also learnt about migration, predators and types of different foods for the birds.
