Teacher-Runner
Last weekend, our amazing Y5&6 teacher, Mr Allcock, ran and completed the prestigious Bath half-marathon. Mr Allcock has been training three times a week and managed to finish the race in 1 hour 30 minutes This is an amazing achievement (the 1st place athlete completed the race in 1 hour 4 minutes!!).
On behalf of all children and staff, many congratulations to Mr Allcock.
Inter-House Basketball
This week, our KS2 children took part in an Inter-House Basketball competition. The children showed great improvement of their skills, team spirit and competitiveness. The winning house for Y3&4 was Rowling and for Y5&6 . Well done to all children that took part. and to the wonderful spectators that cheered them up.
Inspirational Athlete/Coach visit
In Friday’s service we had a visit from a very inspirational guest. Mr Dan Edozie, a former professional Basketball player for Bristol Flyers, and current head coach at Bristol Sonics basketball club, shared his sporting journey with our children and answered a few questions.
