On Monday after school, the family of James Johnson-Brown attended a small event to open the new train on the LRR playground in his memory.
The train has a small plaque with James’ name, date and a message that reads, ‘Remembered with fondness by the children and staff of St. John’s’. The train was then opened to the rest of the LRR site on Tuesday morning and children have been enjoying playing on it.
The school and family would very much like to thank all those who donated to help pay for the train and to support the family.
James will always be remembered for his smile and love of trains, so we hope this new addition to the playground will leave a legacy of smiles from St. John’s children for many years to come.
