Gardening Club Pumpkin Competition

The gardening club children were given two seeds from a record breaking monster pumpkin from the RHS.

The children planted the seeds and waited for them to germinate. Unfortunately one seed failed to produce any shoots, however the second seed was a success. Much love, attention and even talking to the plant helped produce a pumpkin of sorts!

Alongside other schools across England this was entered into a monster pumpkin competition. The gardening club received a certificate for all their efforts.

Well done to all the children in gardening club.
