Year 5/6 St Bede’s football matches

On Monday 11th October, the year 5/6 football team took part in their first league matches of their new season. It is the first supporting event, against other schools, which St John’s has taken part in and the excitement was high.

The boys played some fantastic football against two strong teams (Brentry and Little Mead). They won the first game 4-1 thanks to goals from Ben x2, Julian and Jacob. Unfortunately, they narrowly lost the second game 4-3 with the goal coming from Ben x2 and Jacob.

Everyone who played had a fantastic time and enjoyed the occasion. They all are looking forward to future opportunities to represent the school.
